My Acceptance
I thank Reverend Gerry so much for nominating our Weblog, The Mystical Path, for the “Quintet of Radiance Blogger Award.”
It is an honor I joyously accept for the wonderful recognition she has given the site and all that the site brings and contributes to the spiritual cause of Oneness — in particular, to the advancement of global spiritual awakening and to the fulfillment of humanity’s mystical illumination.
It is truly rewarding to reap such a plentiful harvest of approval, compliments, and goodwill for the work we do here in the online vineyards of the Spirit.I have complied with the Award requirement to write a word about myself for every letter of the English alphabet. The task was not as easy as I had first thought it might be. It proved to be a delicate act to find a fair balance between maintaining the humility of the egoic-sense-of-self, on the one hand, and exalting the qualities of the true Self, on the other hand. In the end, I discerned the exercise to be simply another episode in the ongoing story of “living between two worlds.”
Here then is that list:- A – Authentic
B – Bodhisattva
C – Committed
D – Devoted
E – Enjoyment
F – Fun-loving
G – Godly
H – Happy and Hot
I – Interesting
J – Just
K – Kind
L – Loving
M – Mystic
N – Nondual
O – Open
P – Peace-loving/Purposeful/Passionate
Q – Qualified
R – Respectful
S – Student
T – Teacher
U – Unitive
V – Vedantist
W – Welcoming
X – X-ray
Y – Yogi
Z – Zigzag
Nominating Others
Also, further to the Quintet of Radiance Blogger Award, I unreservedly nominate these following exemplary and praiseworthy bloggers, for being the refreshing, life-affirming, uplifting, or inspiring channels of transformation, expression, sharing, motivation and creativity that they are. They are precious online jewels.
- Annadote is the site of mystic, author and creative artist Anna Romano, located at http://annadote.com/index.php. I love and enjoy her delightful Spirit-laden wisdom quotes or reflections, art expressions, and creative fruitage, particularly her specialty bookmarks, greeting cards, and framed wall reminders. I commend her site.
- MoonLightened Way is the blog site of sublime mystic and prolific blogger Jean Mishra, located at http://moonlightenedshelves.wordpress.com/. Jean shares so much from her heart — OF her soul’s beautiful heart. She shares the same passion I have for the Self. Her site deserves this quintet of awards (and more).
- Darvish is the site of Irving Karchmar, a poet, writer, editor, and author, and, above all, a darvish of the Nimatullahi Sufi Order. Irving’s site is located at http://darvish.wordpress.com/. I have the highest respect for him as a true Sufi. In my heart’s eyes, he is a Sufi par excellence. (Ya Haqq!)
- Life Without a Centre is the site of Jeff Foster, a young mystic and spiritual teacher, who is based in the United Kingdom. His site URL is: http://www.lifewithoutacentre.com/. Jeff and I share a similar commitment to a pure and nondualist mysticism. I haven’t met him in person. However, I have listened to his talks and interviews, and I find him highly respectable and credible as a spiritual teacher and a contemporary mystic.

A Postscript
Darvish replied to the nomination, as follows:
Thank you, brother Marc, for the honor and nomination 🙂 However, my path precludes me from accepting any such awards for being of service, which is meant to be done in humility and anonymously. Peace and many blessing to you 🙂
Ya Haqq!
I understand his response: He is being true to Sufism and to himSelf. Ya Haqq! 🙂
constantly i used to read smaller articles that also clear their motive, and that is also happening with this article which I
am reading now.
