Home is the Infinite Multiverse

This is where we exist — in an infinite multiverse with alternate realities for every conceivable possibility.

The Big Bang

In this infinity, awareness constantly weaves from one alternate reality to another endlessly, like a sewing needle pulling thread as it weaves through cloth, defining our individual experiences moment by moment on the fabric of consciousness.

As I progressed along the mystical path of life, I started to fancy such a notion of existence and reality; I have done so for years now. It seemed like idle speculation from the perspective of the human condition then. But today that notion is being entertained by science. In fact, recent developments and discoveries in astrophysics and cosmology are beginning to seriously consider the notion of an infinite multiverse with alternate realities populating each multiverse.

Wow! It is utterly mind-blowing to even think of it. Truly mind-boggling, but… Think about it. This is our HOME.  This is WHAT WE ARE — the infinite multiverse of existence.

In writing about the centrality of the Christ, Saint Paul said:

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For everything was created by Him,
in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities —
all things have been created through Him and for Him.

He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together.
    He is also the head of the body, the church;
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
so that He might come to have first place in everything.

For God was pleased ⌊to have⌋ all His fullness dwell in Him,
and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself
by making peace through the blood of His cross —
whether things on earth or things in heaven.
    (Colossians 1:15-20, HCSB)

The True Self / The Christ

The True Self / The Christ

Here is my illumined interpretation and reading of Colossians 1:15-20 (HCSB).

YOU are the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
For everything was created by YOU,

in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities —
all things have been created through YOU and for YOU.

YOU are before all things, and by YOU all things hold together.
    YOU are also the head of the body, the church;
YOU are the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
so that YOU might come to have first place in everything.

For God was pleased ⌊to have⌋ all His fullness dwell in YOU,
and through YOU to reconcile everything to Yourself
by making peace through the blood of Your cross —
whether things on earth or things in heaven.
    (Colossians 1:15-20, HCSB)

YOU are the Christ of God,
the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.

About Marc of Contemplative Pathways

Marc teaches contemplative meditation in the context of contemporary mysticism. His understanding of the mystical life is rooted in over 30 years of study, practice, unfoldment, realization and experience, in the course of which he has received the gifts of spiritual discernment and transmission. His teaching work meaningfully shifts consciousness in a student through the process and alchemy of mystical transformation. Marc facilitates the mystical teachings under the style of Contemplative Pathways, enabling others to embark on the spiritual journey by learning the Truth teaching and living its principles. He has been conducting classes and meditation meetings in the San Francisco Bay Area in a classroom, lecture, workshop or group practice setting, for over fifteen years. His methodology of instruction is divinely inspired and firmly rooted in pure, authentic mysticism. His approach to the mystical life is essentially nondenominational, nonsectarian, culturally interfaith, spiritually transreligious, and definitively unitive and nondualistic. His other contributions to worldwide spiritual awakening and the global contemplative movement include spiritual mentoring and spiritual healing practice. Within the context of the great shift in consciousness now occurring all over the planet, Marc’s work presently focuses on individual and collective spiritual transformation and healing through the practice of contemplation or meditation, as the vehicle for transcendence and ascension to the higher dimensions of mystical consciousness. He remains firmly committed to the vision of a global spiritual awakening and the divine promise of humanity’s mystical illumination.

  2. My friend, allow me to introduce you to a revision of your belief. The entity that you refer to as God or Him is not a being and he has no gender, he does not look like a man, the entity you think of as “God” is “the source” that we all came from. The birth of the universe is an event similar to the Big Bang. When the source became aware of it’s existence it became curious and split itself into an almost infinite amount of pieces… sparks of itself (you can call them souls), all had the purpose of learning, they could all experience their own existence according to their will, but once their experience is over (death) they must return to the source with the information. They are then once again, one with “God”. You can learn more from the books of Dolores Cannon, one example of a talk about her discoveries also found in her books: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ucn3Xswv4Q

  3. Thank you for your comments, Lucian.

I am in full agreement with you that the cosmic God is not any form of being, much less anything like or even close to a human being. I further agree with you that this God is without gender. I also agree that this God is “the source” of all manifest forms or things, God being the UnManifest NO-thing which underlies the existence of everything.

I use the noun “God” or the pronoun “He/She/It” to linguistically reference the idea or notion of such an enigmatic “source” for the purpose of having an intelligible and communicable exchange of ideas or discussion. If not for that purpose, the word “God” is just a tag or label without a viable definition or meaning, as far as I am concerned.

I am aware that certain schools of thought use the imagery of a God/Consciousness/Source that “split itself into an almost infinite amount of pieces… sparks of itself (you can call them souls),” to account for the phenomenon we call creation. Personally I prefer to use the term individuation as coined by the late Carl Jung. God/Consciousness/Source individuates, becoming individual souls or focal points of consciousness such as you and me, without ever becoming diminished in any manner due to Its infinite quality of indivisibility. Furthermore, once It individuates, Its individuation (the individualized Self) continues its individuated beingness indefinitely.

The oneness existing between the Source and Its individuations is an innate relationship of identity and sameness. In addition, that oneness is an ever-present reality whether or not the soul is consciously aware of it. For this reason, there is no need of a “returning” to God since all experiential information is simultaneously revealed to and known by Source.

Again, thank you for dropping by and posting, Lucian. I invite you to regularly visit us here at The Mystical Path.

In oneness and in love, I remain.
    Marc

  4. There is no creation of a material or physical universe or multiverse: There is only the reflection of God (All That Is) in the Divine Mind of God. What we call “creation” as an event is merely our finite human perception of what God is, as we process the information through the awareness of our experience in the illusion of time and space.
    🙂

All that’s taking place is God looking at Itself in the mirror of Its mind. All that is, is God.
