This music piece whether in its vocal song form or its jazz instrumental versions captivates me a lot. I feel touched by the music and the song at a very deep psycho-emotional level, evoking feelings of romance and tremendous love. There is something spiritual, too, about the song with its Zen-like quality lyrics.
I have just made a mix of two jazz interpretations: one by the great jazz guitarist Earl Klugh, the other by the more contemporary jazz trumpet player Roy Hargrove.
In between the two jazz renditions is the 2009 released (Love Is the Answer album) vocal sung by the exceptional diva who has graced our lives for a number of decades now with her incomparable voice and singing style — the one and only Barbra Streisand.
